Hello – I’m Stephen Davis. It is a real pleasure to meet you!

I am a 40-ish something guy with a wife, a dog and a steadily growing number of kids. I have the usual busy lifestyle desperately trying to achieve that famous work life balance. I have noticed that since having three sports related surgeries within the past ten years, there has been a gradual change in my body shape, as I am no longer able to participate in as many competitive sports as I used to.

Therefore, my plan is to use this blog to research the foods types, the various diets and nutrition advice out there along with all the different types of exercise classes and styles available, that if combined correctly will have the greatest benefit to my health and fitness, to offset the reduced level of competitive physical activity I am able to participate in, but that will enable me to keep up with the energy my kids have!
